FAQ

What is WorkbookAPI?

WorkbookAPI checks which formulas in your Excel workbook compute exactly like Excel for its saved inputs, in your browser, for free. Next, in early access, it will run the same workbook as an API, a web form or bulk scenario runs, while the model stays in Excel with its owner. Only the browser check is live today.

Does my workbook leave my browser?

No. We count only anonymous totals — never values, formulas or file names. Privacy policy.

What is supported?

Most Excel formulas, including dynamic arrays and LAMBDA. Macros, Power Query and pivot tables are not run — the report flags them.

Why are some formulas not compared?

Volatile functions like TODAY, links to other files and cells without a saved Excel result are skipped.

When can I use it?
